Wes Norris serves as President of Valair Aviation. In his role with Valair, Wes provides executive leadership to the aviation services division of MSA that includes fixed based operations (FBO), aircraft inspection, maintenance, modification, integration, avionics, paint and interior services for light and medium turbo-prop, jet commercial and special mission aircraft.
Prior to joining MSA, Wes held various industry positions to include Director of Business Development, USAF Programs, L3 Technologies, Integrated Aerospace Systems. Before joining the industry, Wes served 24 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Colonel. He finished his career as the Director of Logistics (A-4) for Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command where he provided direction and oversight to more than 5,000 Airmen worldwide maintaining 232 special operations aircraft in 19 mission design series.
A career aircraft maintenance/logistics officer, Wes commanded the 27th Special Operations Maintenance Group at Cannon AFB, NM where he led over 1,400 Airmen in sustaining a $5.5B fleet of 112 aircraft comprised of 9 mission design series to include the AC-130H gunship and AC-130W precision strike aircraft, MC-130J refueling and mobility aircraft, CV-22 tilt rotor aircraft, MQ-1/MQ-9 remotely piloted aircraft and 3 different types of FAA regulated civilian derivative aircraft.
Wes earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College and Master of Science degrees from Troy University, Air Command and Staff College and the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.
Lieutenant General Jon M. Davis USMC (Ret) is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Meta Special Aerospace (MSA).
He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant of Marines in 1980, received his wings in 1982, and was selected to fly the AV-8 Harrier. He served with VMA-231, VMAT-203, VMA-223, as a Royal Air Force (RAF) exchange pilot with 3(F) squadron, and as a MAWTS-1 instructor (the Marine Corps Aviations Weapons and Tactics Instructor Schoolhouse). He commanded VMA-223, MAWTS-1 and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. He served as the Deputy Commander -- Network Warfare at Fort Meade, and as the Deputy Commander, United States Cyber Command. His last active duty billet was to serve as the Deputy Commandant for Aviation, Headquarters Marine Corps. He retired in 2017 from the Marine Corps after 37 years active duty service.
In the course of his military career he has flown over 4,300 mishap free hours in primarily the AV-8, but also in the F-5, FA-18, and every type model series tilt-rotor, rotary winged and air-refueler in the USMC inventory plus over 1400 hours in general and experimental aviation aircraft.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College, a Master of Science from Marine Corps University and a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rolls Royce North America, and as a director on the boards of Chemring Group and Viper Technologies.
He is the National Commander of the Marine Corps Aviation Association.
Greg Meacham serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Meta Special Aerospace. He has more than 20 years of experience serving as CFO, COO and Executive VP with companies operating in both the private and federal sectors. He was part of the senior leadership team for a subsidiary company of SAIC, a US-based, publicly-traded company, as well as, the US subsidiary of WS Atkins, a UK-based, publicly-traded company.
In his roles he has provided the overall direction and management of finance, accounting, legal, contracts, human resources, risk management, marketing, strategic and commercial operations, and strategic planning. He has led numerous business integrations while driving process improvements in order to mitigate risks and create real value for the organization. He has extensive experience with all aspects of mergers and acquisitions ranging from due diligence through negotiating definitive agreements. He has been intimately involved in structuring numerous business arrangements which included complex organizational and financial solutions for federal privatization and commercial projects.
Greg earned his Bachelors in Business Administration–Finance from the University of Oklahoma and his Master’s in Business Administration-Finance from Oklahoma City University. He currently serves on the Board of several non-profit organizations and financial institutions.
Mike Bowen is an aircraft maintenance and support professional with over 20 years of experience. Mike joined Valair Aviation (formerly The Servicenter) in 2001 as an aircraft mechanic to help develop the King Air line of business. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Ground Operations his responsibilities include oversight of all Maintenance Repair and Overhaul and Fixed Based Operator operations, Customer Service personnel, Material and Logistics support.
Prior to joining Valair Aviation, Mike worked for Raytheon Aerospace (BASI) in Selma, Alabama and Keesler Air Force Base as a lead mechanic refurbishing King Air 200’s, 90’s and 1900’s under a CLS contract for the US military. He then transitioned to a Branch Manager for Raytheon Aerospace (L-3) where he was responsible for all maintenance on King Air, Citation 550’s, Cessna 210’s, ASTAR helicopters, Bell 206’s, as well as performing quality control duties required to maintain aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, ordering parts, maintaining on site budgets and manning from 1997 – 2001. Mike’s career began with service in the USMC and USAF maintaining Huey’s, Cobra’s and as a jet engine mechanic on the F-16.
